D-topia Entertainment ■解放の日:2009.11.23 ■カタログ番号:VUCA-65028 ■費用:\1,050(規則的) | 1,500(初回盤)
(規則的) Regular Edition 1 Way To Go 2 虹音楽 (Niji Ongaku/Rainbow Music) 3 The Girl You Lost to Cocaine (Sia Cover) 4 Way To Go (Big Beat rmx) 5 chemical soda (KOKA FUNK rmx)
(初回盤) Limited Edition 1 Way To Go 2 虹音楽 (Niji Ongaku/Rainbow Music) 3 The Girl You Lost to Cocaine (Sia Cover) 4 Destiny’s War 5 My Boy (Modular Modular rmx) 6 chemical soda (Techno Hard rmx)
Just a rumor at the moment. Posted in JPM and some other forums. But there aren't any official sources as of yet. So this my be false.
I hope these rumors are true. It was about time Saori released something new! I'm really liking the whole idea of limited edition with different tracklisting! So we are getting different remixes on each version! AND FINALLY WE GET DESTINY'S WAR! First we got Aira's Everytime We Touch and Heavenly Star and now we get Destiny's War! This is a VERY lucky year for D-topians!
But, as for the whole rumor thing. I noticed something fishy. The prices. Most of D-topia singles are 1,000yen or less. These 1,050yen/1,500yen. Which is weird. I mean WOW WAR TECHNO was 1,000yen. So.. why should be this singles be more expensive?! I don't know, maybe D-topia singles will be more expensive. I just hope this rumor is true, I really want new Saori!

The only factors that really make this seem fake to me are the fact that there's two editions, a cover of an Australian artist/song (that is also, surprise surprise, explicit) and the fact that Destiny's War is on it. Also, the lack of a real source isn't helping much.
I'm really hoping it's real, but at this stage, who knows what'll happen.

Ridiculous or not, Saori needs to release something FAST. If it turns out that Aira is the next one to get a single, I'm going to be really disappointed.

I think I'd be more disappointed with this than nothing at all. IDK, she's been so consistent so far... I'd kind of like to keep her that way. Something about this just doesn't sit right with me. *shrug*
She definitely does need a new release, but if it's not going to be up to her past standard, then I have little reason to care.

This sounds like one of those joke release listings... the titles don't even sound like Saori's. And what are the odds of both her and Aira having -Music songs, old super-rare songs and remixes titled THE SAME WAY? (I know Big Beat and Modular Modular could be artists in their own right, but it's a completely different style to her music...)
Either way though, I hope she does release some new material soon. She's been performing, so maybe she's been testing new songs...

To be fair, Aira's rare tracks weren't officially released, they just leaked all of a sudden. As far as I can tell... (Wait, were they officially released somewhere? Or am I thinking of the wrong songs?) Though I wouldn't put anything past anyone. Anyone can use any title, surprising ones have popped up before.

I think it's safe to say, this rumor is false. The thread on JPM is removed. I saw it coming anyways.

Which thread was closed? I still see Saori's up there, and if the single had it's own thread, then I'm not surprised... Usually you have to keep that stuff to the Artist thread, as far as I know.
Though it's definitely fake, so I guess it doesn't matter.

Aira's weren't officially released (just her old promo CDs leaked). And I agree with you, you can get some really weird song titles and lyrics out of predictable artists (particularly when they're trying to be surprising and reinvent themselves) but these just seem too far off for Saori, you know? Aira went from Perfume pop to heavier stuff, but I can't see Saori going through a radical change yet - she has a small fanbase and I'm not sure she would benefit from suddenly changing style.

Good point, I forgot about her small fanbase. >_> I love her too much.
Either way, by this point it definitely seems to be fake, so I guess it doesn't matter. I just hope there's a real single soon.

Same. On reflection I really like that date (I have a weird thing about number aesthetics...). Maybe D-topia will take the hint and give us another release? (wouldn't it be really funny if they decided to do something as a response to this? I can actually see them doing a revamped Destiny's War and the Modular remix... maybe even a Way To Go)
